Branding Ebooks for your own benefit

Hello again Folks,

This post is about branding ebooks and I have written it for 2 reasons, the 1st reason is that branding ebooks has so much earning and or traffic potential for ebook resellers and the 2nd reason I am writing this post is that 4 people have emailed me this week regarding brandable ebooks, i.e. how do you do it!

First things first, for those of you who don’t yet know what a brandable ebooks is here is a quick description:

A brandable ebook is an ebook that allows you to edit certain parts of the pdf ebook. Normally you can’t amend any text in a pdf ebook correct? Yes, it is correct. But some ebook authors allow you to add your own links into the ebook they have written.

So when you download a brandable ebook, you should also download a small software package that allows you to “brand” the pdf document.

Now you can’t choose which parts of the ebook to brand this is pre-determined by the ebook author.

So when you run the pdf brander software, and click, drag and drop the pdf file into the brander software, the software will then display the parts of the ebook you are allowed to brand with your own links.

I’m sure you have seen many ebooks which say “This ebook is proudly brought to you by www.awebsitename.com.

Well it’s more than likely that the owner of www.awebsitename.com has branded this ebook.

I am going to take you through two different types of brandable ebooks, both are excellent examples and come with the branding software AND seperate instructions so it should be a breeze!

The first set of brandable ebooks are from Aurelius Tjin (MY Favourite Online Marketer) so visit the link below and then come back here to read the rest of the post:

The 2 ebooks are completely free and don’t even need you to sign for anything either, visit the link, scroll right down to the bottom right hand side and you will see the 2 download links.

Now I am only going to talk you though branding the first ebook.

The ebook titled “7 List Building Ways” allows you to brand the ebook with 2 pieces of information, the first one is your name and the second one is your website link.

Now I’m sure we all have a name! But maybe we all don’t have an ebook website or any website for that matter.

There is nothing to say you cant use an affiliate link here, or a link to your ebay shop, or even a link to your ebay id, it’s entirely your choice which link you brand.

There are step by step instructions on how to brand the ebook but here is a quick recap:

Unzip the 7 List Building Ways Folder.

Double click to run the pdf brander software.

Click, hold and drag the pdf file into the brander software.

Enter your name.

Enter a link of your choice (minus http://www.) so my link would be inside-ebooks.net

Click brand, choose a name for your new branded pdf, voila you are done!

Now the next type of ebook you can brand can be found here:

http://www.myclickpages.com/

This page is great for those of you who don’t have any sort of website as yet, as you get a ready made website for free containing links to clickbank affiliate products, no coding needed, no webhosting it’s all done for you.

Now you do have to part with your precious email address for this one, so visit the page and click on “click here to get your free website”

Fill in the require details, now you do need to have a clickbank id, if you don’t have one visit here and sign up:

http://www.clickbank.com

Ok, now add your clickbank id and email address and you will then visit a page with your newly generated clickbank affiliate website page.

Keep a note of this url, it will look something like this

http://www.myclickpages.com/?sally69

You now have a great little page full of affiliate links so simply promote your url in all your emails, in forums, when you write articles, when you brand ebooks etc etc etc!

Now I kinda went off topic there with the free website but I’m jumping straight back on track!

Once you have your free website url generated, you will see a link on the page for “Brandable Ebooks” click on the link and you will be taken to a page where you can download 4 free ebooks.

These 4 ebooks can be branded with your clickbank id.

There are instructions on how to brand the ebooks, but it is a very simlar process to the ebook you just branded from Aurelius Tjin’s website.

The only difference is this time, instead of branding the ebooks with your name and link of your choice, it’s your clickbank id.

So once you have branded the 4 ebooks, what can you do with them?

I would personally give them away to anyone you can!

You could add a bonus folder inside any of your current ebooks and give the ebooks away that way.

You could add these ebooks as a bonus on your download pages.

You could give these ebooks away as an incentive for people to sign up at your website, ebay shop etc etc!

Remember the more people who read the ebooks, the more chance there is of you making an affiliate sale from within these ebooks.

I hope this post has taught you a little about branding ebooks, and the different types of branding, and more importantly how you can benefit from other peoples hard work!

If you are not interested in branding ebooks or just want to see what the ebooks should look like after they are branded simply visit the free downloads page on this blog and download the 4Free_TimKnox_Ebooks.zip file.

Keep the questions coming and perhaps you will see an answer to your question on the blog one day.

To your continued success, Sally :)

Hello Sally, thanks for this post, I wondered how I brand the ebooks and now I know.

You can teach an old dog new tricks.

    Thankyou kindly John.

Hello Sally, I have been receiving your Newsletter for some time now and I was glad to notice you had opened a Blog on ‘Inside Ebooks.’ I have always found your articles to be extremely rewarding, actually, rewarding in two ways- very good content and free Ebooks ☺
I always look forward to your Newsletter- written in your own inimitable style. One is never subjected to high pressurised endless sales talk, although I have to admit that any book you recommend I always buy it! I have learned far more from you than any other salesperson on the Internet. Well done Sally- Keep up the good work and long may you prosper. Many thanks. Sarah
